Standing up to the Klan: Indiana Jews vs. The Klan
Wed. Nov. 18, 6 pm EST

Take advantage of this opportunity to learn with acclaimed Indiana historian, Dr. James H. Madison, IU professor of history emeritus, about the history of Indiana’s KKK.  Dr. Madison will show how Indiana’s Ku Klux Klan of the 1920s was a mainstream – not marginal movement, and explain why so many Hoosiers joined the organization. Notably, he will also share how Jewish communities in Indiana responded to the Klan throughout the state.
